Michael Cadden joins FNI Board Michael enjoys the outdoors and has gained a new appreciation for the personal and community benefits of protected open spaces. For the last five years he has spent the summer exploring the Norwalk Islands on his kayak. Before joining FNI in 2011 he dug deeply into the islands background through historical research at the Norwalk Public Library. His business management skills will be most useful in helping FNI achieve its goals.
Education includes Boston University (MBA) and Boston College (BA). Michael is a Managing Director of LivingAbroad, LLC in Westport. He lives with his wife in Norwalk, CT. Other outside interests include History, Birding, Yoga, Hiking, Science, Microfinance and World Affairs. WELCOME MICHAEL!

Founded in January 2011, the Friends of the Norwalk Islands, Inc. has partnered with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to conserve, protect and enhance the environment, recreational and cultural significance of the Norwalk Islands and to support the goals of the National Wildlife Refuge System. The Norwalk Islands of Chimon, Peach, Goose and Sheffield are part of the Norwalk Islands unit of the Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge.
